Contained on this CD ROM are autodesk animations .fli files.
The .fli files are contained in the ANIMATE, CLASSICS, FLIS,
directories. To run the .fli animations from dos type runme
at the dos prompt D/> (if D is the CD ROM drive) and follow the
on screen instructions. To run the animations under windows start
windows and from the program managers file menu select run then
switch to your CD ROM drive then open the winaa folder and select
aawin.exe, this will start aawin then you can load any of the files on
the CD ROM and play them through windows. Once you have loaded an
animation you can select get sound (if you have a sound card) from
the file menu of aawin and browse and select one of the midi files
or wave files located on the CD ROM in the relevant directories.
You can install aawin onto your hard disk by copying the files
contained in the directory winaa to your hard disk. Then select the
group your want the aawin icon to appear then from the program
managers file menu select new, then click the program item button.
Then you will be presented with a requester for the program item
properties in the first field the Description enter the text you want
to appear under the icon. The next the field is the command line field
in this field enter the command line i.e the path e.g
c:\directory\filename. The next field is working directory
field enter the name of the directory you want the program to work in
i.e the directory that files i.e saved in unless you specify otherwise.
Then if click the change icon button you be presented with some icons
to choose from choose the icon you like and click the o.k button, then
click the o.k button on the program item properties dialog box, and you
should see a new icon in the window you selected. Also found on this
CD ROM is program for displaying gif files this program can be found in
wingifap folder and can be installed in the same way.
